Latest study, reported in medical journal LANCET concluded that:
“MCDA modelling showed that heroin, crack cocaine, and metamfetamine were the most harmful drugs to individuals (part scores 34, 37, and 32, respectively), whereas alcohol, heroin, and crack cocaine were the most harmful to others (46, 21, and 17, respectively). Overall, alcohol was the most harmful drug (overall harm score 72), with heroin (55) and crack cocaine (54) in second and third places. Like all problems in life, including epidemics associated with addictive things (sex, drugs such as alcohol, heroin, cocaine, cannabis, amphetamines etc.), cigarette smoking will not be controlled until and unless man's mind set is first change. This is the way shown by Allah, man's Creator, on how to control any form of addiction. Implementing this policy, Nabi Muhammad s.a.w successfully abolish alcohol addiction epidermic within a short time of 20 years. Compare this with the failure of 'modern' governments' failure to fight alcoholism which is causing tremendous havoc all over the world.

Changing the mind set
Nabi Muhammad s.a.w took 13 years to change man's mind-set before implementing transformation programs for the Arab society. The Arabs were taught to really understand the correct concept of Godhood . God creates everything; He, the Most Gracious, Most Merciful, governs all the worlds ; He creates man as His vicegerent on earth, to totally submit and be a slave to Him, and He sends guidance for man to fulfill this responsibility so that he will not be misled by Syaitan who was given permission by Him to try to mislead man until the end of time; He gives man freedom to choose: follow God's way or Syaitan's way ; He makes everyone responsible for his choices and actions; He will reward/punish man for his actions in this world and next; He is the Judge on the Day of Judgment.

Nabi Muhammad s.a.w successfully changed the mind set of the Arabs within 13 years. Then and only then did God allowed him to migrate to Madinah where he was made the head of city state Madinah and given guidance to fully implement Islam as a way of life. After a short time of 7 years as head of government, he was able to abolish alcoholism epidermic with minimum use of man-power and finance.

Allah' model or Syaitan's way?
Allah has promised : 123. (Allah) said:"Get you down (from the Paradise to the earth), both of you, together, some of you are an enemy to some others. Then if there comes to you guidance from Me, then whoever follows My Guidance shall neither go astray, nor fall into distress and misery.
124. "But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Qur'an nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and We shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection."
125. He will say:"O my Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)."
126. (Allah) will say: "Like this, Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came unto you, but you disregarded them (i.e. you left them, did not think deeply in them, and you turned away from them), and so this Day, you will be neglected (in the Hell-fire, away from Allah's Mercy)."
127. And thus do We requite him who transgresses beyond bounds [i.e. commits the great sins and disobeys his Lord (Allah) and believes not in His Messengers, and His revealed Books, like this Qur'an, etc.], and believes not in the Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) of his Lord, and the torment of the Hereafter is far more severe and more lasting.
128. Is it not a guidance for them (to know) how many generations We have destroyed before them, in whose dwellings they walk? Verily, in this are signs indeed for men of understanding. (Al Quran Chapter 20 Taa Haa )

Syaitan's way
Syaitan's ways have led man a stray with devastating results as can be seen from the following examples.

Australia blitz on drink violence
Australian police are beginning their biggest co-ordinated operation to curb alcohol-related violence nationwide.

Alcohol-related violence, including sexual assaults and fights, has nearly doubled in the past decade and a half.

Each week the abuse of alcohol kills on average more than 60 Australians, while 1,500 end up in hospital.
Alan Morrison from the New South Wales Ambulance Service says what he calls an epidemic of self-destruction must be addressed.
"There certainly is a cultural acceptance of drinking in Australia and I'm not sure I understand why that is the case.
"I see the effects of it all the time and I think most people don't come into contact with the kind of things paramedics or police or emergency departments see to understand that our casual approach to drinking in our society is actually destroying lives and destroying people," he said.

After all efforts had failed , governments all over the world have legalized smoking and drinking alcohol. In fact both habits have become status symbols in many societies. In the West, people are suspicious of those who do not drink!

History repeats itself with other addictions. Cannabis for personal use is now permitted. In some countries in Europe there are booths where drug addicts can get free injection of morphine, to prevent needle-sharing , hoping to control spread of HIV ! Legalized gambling is a huge source of income for many countries. Prostitution is legalized in many countries, including in Singapore.
Man's choice
Allah has given man brain to make choices: to choose Allah's guidance or follow Syaitan's way. In combating things addictive , it is clear as day that Allah's way is the best. Syaitan only wants to lead man to his destruction.

Harga Susu Naik Lagi: Berhenti Saja Minum Susu!

Atas alasan tertentu, harga susu tepong akan naik lagi.(“Harga susu tepung dijangka naik”
Tuty Haryanti Ahmad Rodzituty@bharian.com.my 2010/10/08 ) Ini bermakna belanja dapur mereka yang minum susu akan juga ikut naik. Bagaimana menghadapi masalah ini? Senang saja:berhenti saja minum susu!

Susu hanya satu dari sumber protin. Ia sebenarnya sumber protin penting bagi golongan Aryan seperti orang Barat, Timur Tengah dan Indo-Pak. Bagi kita orang Asia bukan keturunan Aryan, sumber protin penting ialah susu ibu, ikan dan daging.

Dalam proses evolusi, sistem pemakanan orang Asia lebih sesuai terima sumber protin dari susu ibu, ikan dan daging. Sistem pemakanan orang Asia senang mengalami tindak balas dari protin bersumber susu lembu. Maka wujudlah masalah alahan protin susu lembu (cows milk protein allergy). Allahan ini menyebabkan berbagai penyakit seperti cirit-birit, batuk kronik dan penyakit kulit.

Anihnya, Barat mengempen secara meluas di Barat supaya masyarakat Barat beri susu ibu kepada bayi. Malah, Barat tubuh bank susu ibu yang membeli susu ibu, menyimpan dan membekal susu ibu kepada umum.

Antara sebab kempen besar-besaran minum susu ibu bagi bayi di Barat ialah ahli sains Barat tahu bahawa susu ibu terbaik untuk bayi kerana ia mengandungi antara lain makanan yang diperlukan oleh otak kanak-kanak yang pesat membesar dari lahir sehinggalah umur 2 tahun yang pada masa itu sudah membesar sebanyak 85 peratus.

Tetapi untuk menjaga kepentingan ekonomi mereka, dan memajukan industri ternakan lembu, Barat menjalankan kempen besar-besaran supaya masyarakat bukan Barat minum susu lembu, bermula di peringkat bayi, menggantikan susu ibu. Kempen 'susu ibu terbaik untuk bayi' hanya gimik perniagaan saja! Kenapa? Masih terdapat 'juru-rawat syarikat susu' yang masih berkempen supaya ibu-ibu beri susu lembu kepada bayi, walaupun sudah ada larangan Kementerian Kesihatan mencegah perkara ini.

Bagi mereka yang mengalami alahan susu lembu, kenaikan harga susu lembu menambah satu lagi sebab untuk tidak minum susu lembu dan makanan-makanan yang mengandungi susu lembu. Makanlah makanan yang halal lagi baik saja.

Ini bermakna orang Asia patutlah kembalilah kepada makanan sumber protin asal kita, iaitu susu ibu, ikan dan daging. Bagi yang berminat untuk minum susu, minumlah susu buatan kelapa sawit. Dengan cara ini, bukan saja kita dapat mengurangkan pembelajaan dapur kita, tetapi juga membantu mengurangkan pengaliran keluar wang negara kepada negara Barat, Australia dan New Zealand. Ia juga dapat mengurangkan masalah kesihatan dan mengecil pembelanjaan untuk menjaga kesihatan kita.

Ketua Polis Negara (KPN), Tan Sri Musa Hassan digesa mendedahkan nama pengganas dan pertubuhan mereka jika terdapat bukti, mereka cuba menyerang tempat ibadat bukan Islam di negara ini.”

Sekiranya tuduhan KPN Tan Sri Musa Hassan benar, maka ini satu jenayah besar walau pun dilihat dari apa sudut sekali pun, apatah lagi bila dilihat dari sudut Islam. Undang-undang negara sudah ada untuk menangani masalah ini. Kenapa tidak digunakan undang-undang ini?

Soalan yang lebih besar dan terpenting, sekiranya jenayah ini dirancang oleh orang-orang Islam, kenapa ini berlaku?

Punca utama ialah kelemahan sistem pendidikan negara. Sistem pendidikan negara hanya menumpukan usaha untuk menjadi Mlaysia negara maju, berdaya saing dan negara pendapatan tinggi, tanpa memberi penekanan kepada akhirat. Ini semua berkaitan dengan cinta kepada dunia.

Dalam Islam tujuan pendidikan ialah untuk melahirkan manusia yang takut kepada Allah:
“Sebenarnya yang menaruh bimbang dan takut (melanggar perintah) Allah dari kalangan hamba-hambaNya hanyalah orang-orang yang berilmu.” (Al Faathir 35:28)

Manusia yang takut kepada Allah tidak menyeleweng dari petunjuk-Nya. Maka jadilah dia manusia terbaik:
“Sesungguhnya semulia-mulia kamu di sisi Allah ialah orang yang lebih taqwanya di antara kamu, (bukan yang lebih keturunan atau bangsanya).” (Al Hujurat 49:13)
“Kamu (wahai umat Muhammad) adalah sebaik-baik umat yang dilahirkan bagi (faedah) umat manusia, (kerana) kamu menyuruh berbuat segala perkara yang baik dan melarang daripada segala perkara yang salah (buruk dan keji), serta kamu pula beriman kepada Allah (dengan sebenar-benar iman).” (Al Imran 3:110)

Bila manusia tidak dididik supaya takut kepada Allah dan membelakangkan petunjuk Allah, dia akan jadi seorang fasik dan akan melakukan kerosakan di dunia:
“....dan Tuhan tidak akan menjadikan sesat dengan sebab perbandingan itu melainkan orang-orang yang fasik; (Iaitu) orang-orang yang merombak (mencabuli) perjanjian Allah sesudah diperteguhkannya, dan memutuskan perkara yang disuruh Allah supaya diperhubungkan, dan mereka pula membuat kerosakan dan bencana di muka bumi.” (Al Baqarah 2: 26-27)

Ulasan Al Syahid Sayed Qutb rahimahullah tentang ayat ini:
“Dan andainya tali perhubungan di antara manusia dengan Tuhan mereka terputus seperti ini, maka sudah tentu ia menimbulkan kerosakan yang menyeluruh, iaitu kerosakan yang merangkumi jiwa, keadaan dan kehidupan, dan kerosakan yang mengcakup bumi dan penghuninya dari manusia dan benda-benda.

“Inilah keruntuhan, kejahatan dan keroskan yang berlaku akibat dari penyelewangan dari jalan Allah.:
(Asy-Syahid Sayyid Qurtb Tafsir Fi Zilalil Quran jilid 1 m.s 98-99)

Jadi jelas, segala keruntuhan, kejahatan dan kerosakan (seperti rasuah, penagihan dadah, buang bayi, ragut, zina, judi, rompakan, pembunuhan, pelamggaran hak-hak asasi manusia dll) yang sedang membarah dalam masyarakat Malaysia dan seluruh dunia, berpunca dari kelemahan sistem pendidikan yang hanya memupuk kecintaan kepada dunia. Penyelesaiannya hanyalah dengan kembali kepada sistem pendidikan Islam yang mendidik manusia supaya takut kepada Allah dan menjadinya insan soleh yang akan mewarisi dunia .

“Dan demi sesungguhnya, Kami telah tulis di dalam Kitab-kitab yang Kami turunkan sesudah ada tulisannya pada Lauh Mahfuz: "Bahawasanya bumi itu akan diwarisi oleh hamba-hambaKu yang soleh". (Al Anbiyaa' 21:105)
